Table 2 shows the clinical characteristics of AIH patients with or without gAChR antibodies. The gAChR antibody-positive (ab+) patients had significantly lower serum albumin levels at the time of registering, as well as lower platelet counts compared with those of the gAChR antibody-negative (ab–) patients (Tables 2 and 3). This evidence concerns the gene ALB and autoimmune hepatitis.
