Similar results were obtained treating colon cancer cell lines with AVL-292, a different BTK inhibitor also in clinical trials for treating B-cell malignancies.19 Notably, AVL-292 at 10 μM almost completely suppressed cell growth and had a mild but significant cytotoxic effect (Supplementary Figure S8b) that increased in a dose-dependent manner (Supplementary Figure S8c).
