We then confirmed our results showing that p65BTK expression parallels ERK1/2 activation and abnormal hnRNPK cytoplasmic localization by immunohistochemical analysis on paired peritumoural/tumoural samples from the same 13 colon carcinoma patients whose tissues have already been analysed for p65BTK expression in Figures 1b and 2b (Figure 4e, Supplementary Figure S6 and Supplementary Table S1). This evidence concerns the gene HNRNPK and colon carcinoma.
