MAPK3 and breast neoplasm: Recently, Huang et al. reported that the elevated expression Cryab can induce hyperactivity of the ERK1/2 signaling pathway by forming a complex with 14-3-3ζ in human hepatocellular carcinoma [9], and Moyano et al. confirmed that high level of Cryab constitutively activates the MAPK kinase/ERK1/2 (MEK/ERK1/2) pathway in human basal-like breast tumors [8].
