FGFR1 and lung adenocarcinoma: Additionally, the frequency of FGFR1 amplification was significantly higher in males (median 17.2%, 6.6%–39.4%) than females (median 10.0%, 0.0%–15.8%) and much higher in SQCC (median 18.0%, 5.1%–28.3%) than lung adenocarcinoma (median 4.1%, 1.7%–11.5%).
