CRP and rheumatoid arthritis: When comparing the main patients characteristics according to DKK-1 quartile, we did not find any difference between the lower and upper quartile regarding demographic characteristics, disease activity, antibody status, but we confirmed a higher CRP level among patients of the upper quartile (28.1 ± 36.8 vs 15.9 ± 32.5, p = 0.0012), and a higher frequency of typical RA erosions (23.6% vs 8.7%, p = 0.0002).
