First, we used data from reported cases of scarlet fever (i.e., confirmed cases using diagnosis criteria), however, we were unable to explore the characteristics of group A streptococcus GAS emm typing stain (e.g., emm1, emm3 emm4, emm6, emm12, or emm22), according to the protocol described by the US CDC due to unavailable data for such information. This evidence concerns the gene PIGG and scarlet fever.
