Significant reduction of IL-2 and IFNγ levels was observed in the pancreas of MSC-treated responder mice (T1D-MSCs group: 90.20 ± 55.86 pg/g and 3.92 ± 3.60 pg/g; C-MSCs group: 96.72 ± 46.36 pg/g and 6.09 ± 5.25 pg/g; control group: 161.96 ± 47.22 pg/g and 18.60 ± 8.22 pg/g; P <0.05). This evidence concerns the gene IL2 and type 1 diabetes mellitus.
