BRCA2 and Hereditary breast cancer: In this study, we compared the genotype distribution of the five polymorphisms that were previously reported in the literature to be associated with the risk of breast cancer [13, 17, 18] in three groups of women: women at-risk for hereditary breast cancer, with germline mutations in the BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes, women with VUS identified in one of those genes, and women WT for both genes.
