AKT1 and cervical carcinoma: Meanwhile, induction of ITGA2 cDNA into cervical cancer cells could attenuate the anti-tumor effect of Bufalin and rescue the expression of FAK, p-FAK (Tyr397), AKT1, p-AKT1 (Ser473), GSK3β and p-GSK3β (Ser389), which indicated that Bufalin exerted its anti-tumor effects through the regulation of integrinα2β5/FAK/AKT1/ GSK3β signal cascade.
