Ectopic expression of GLS2-Flag in Huh-1 and HepG2 cells greatly reduced Ser199/204 phosphorylation of PAK1 (Figure 2E), whereas GLS2 knockdown enhanced Ser199/204 phosphorylation of PAK1 (Figure 2F), which further indicates that GLS2 inhibits the Rac1 activity in HCC cells. Here, RAC1 is linked to hepatocellular carcinoma.
