In multivariable Cox proportional hazard models analyses male gender (HR 1.50, [95 % CI 1.03–2.18], p = 0.034), injecting drug use as HIV infection mode (HR 0.59, [95 % CI 0.40–0.87], p = 0.007), nadir CD4+ count (HR 1.44, [95 % CI 1.32–1.57], p < 0.001), unknown anti-HBc total status (HR 0.67, [95 % CI 0.52–0.86], p = 0.002), cART group as ITI (HR 24.7, [95 % CI 9.7–63.4], p < 0.001) and FI (HR 2.73, [95 % CI 1.47–5.04], p < 0.001) remained statistically significant (Table 4).
