We found that of these eight genes only three (AMOTL1, SDPR and TSHZ2) exhibited the expression pattern predicted by the microarray datasets (Figure 1B and 1C): namely, these three genes were down-regulated in both human breast cancer tissues (compared to normal mammary tissue; Figure 1B) and breast cancer cell lines (compared to HMEC4htertshp16; Figure 1C). Here, CAVIN2 is linked to breast carcinoma.
