The data revealed that age, duration of DM, systolic blood pressure (SBP), body mass index (BMI), fasting blood glucose (FBG), albumin to creatinine ratio (ACR), hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c), high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP), triglycerides, and ACR in T2DM patients with albuminuria had a significant increase than in health subjects, whereas eGFR had a markedly decrease in T2DM patients with albuminuria than in health subjects. Here, CRP is linked to type 2 diabetes mellitus.
