ITGB1 and lung carcinoma: Because neither Itgβ1 nor FAK are predicted miR-200 family targets and neither correlated with the EMT status of the cells, we analyzed the pan-cancer TCGA datasets34 and a separate compendium of publically-available lung cancer datasets25 for genes with negative correlation to miR-200 family expression, high correlation to ZEB1, and predicted miR200b sites in the 3′ UTR by three different prediction algorithms (Fig. 4a and Supplemental Table 2).
