Disruption of the Autism susceptibility candidate 2 gene (AUTS2) by de novo balanced translocation, was originally associated with ASDs, but more studies have shown that it is also associated with a wide range of neurological diseases such as ID, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), dyslexia and epilepsy [1–7]. The gene discussed is AUTS2; the disease is attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder.
