Zhang and colleagues reported that there was not a significant difference in the distribution of the IL-6 572G/C polymorphisms between lung cancer patients and controls, although some other polymorphisms such as IL-6-1363 T/G, IL-10 -819 T/C and IL-10 -592A/C polymorphisms were more common in the patient group [29]. This evidence concerns the gene IL6 and lung carcinoma.
