Interestingly, a computational re-analysis of multiple sclerosis-associated single nucleotide polymorphism data from 112 different cell types suggests that TCF7 is associated with multiple sclerosis [23], and a recent genome-wide association study identified the single nucleotide polymorphism rs756699 located on the TCF7 gene in multiple sclerosis patients [24]. This evidence concerns the gene TCF7 and multiple sclerosis.
