Meanwhile, in cervical cancer tissues, matched pericarcinomatous tissues and normal cervix tissues, the results showed hypermethylation of SALL3 in cervical cancer and pericarcinomatous tissues compared with in normal cervix tissues (p<0.05).Our result was consistent with Shikauchi et al[8] and Yang et al[27]. The gene discussed is SALL3; the disease is cervical carcinoma.
