NOS3 and cerebral amyloid angiopathy: H2S is able to restore decreased levels of eNOS, CD31, VE-cadherin, and endothelin-1 expression in brain endothelial cells subjected to the toxic action of homocysteine in vitro (Kamat et al., 2015b) and in vivo (Kamat et al., 2013), however whether or not this effect can be reproduced in cerebral amyloid angiopathy remains to be elucidated.
