We previously showed that gene expression profiles are altered in phenotypically normal skin fibroblasts from familial melanoma families with distinct CDKN2A/p16 mutations (DKN2A:c.377T>A (p.V126D) and CDKN2A:c.259G>T (p.R87P)) when compared to skin fibroblasts from normal controls [16]. Here, CDKN2A is linked to melanoma.
