We further explored the clinical significance of MICAL2 in human cancer performing comparative real time PCR (QRT-PCR) in normal/tumor paired biopsies of patients affected with three major types of human cancers: of the lung (non small cell lung cancer, NSCLC: Adenocarcinoma, AC; squamous cell carcinoma, SCC), kidney (clear cell renal cell carcinoma, ccRCC; papillary renal cell carcinoma, pRCC), and stomach (diffuse and intestinal histotypes). Here, MICAL2 is linked to clear cell renal carcinoma.
