HDAC9 and primary cutaneous T-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma: Vorinostat (suberanilohydroxamic acid, SAHA) is structurally similar to trichostatin A and a nanomolar inhibitor of partially purified HDAC classes I and II [17]; to date, it has been FDA approved, together with romidepsin, for the treatment of refractory cutaneous T cell lymphoma (CTCL) and is under clinical trials for therapy of several other malignancies.
