The XRCC1 rs1799782 TT genotype was found to be associated with an increased risk of lung [30], esophageal [31], and cervical cancer [32] in a Chinese population, and the rs25487 AA genotype was linked to an increased risk of breast cancer among women [33] and pancreatic cancer [34] in a Chinese population. Here, XRCC1 is linked to breast carcinoma.
