Thirteen SNPs were associated with p < 0.1 for breast cancer specific mortality according to anthracycline-based chemotherapy in the MARIE study, nine of them located in the five genes OGG1, PARP2, POLB, SMUG1, XRCC1 already indicated above and five SNPs in additional three genes (CDKN1A, LIG3, MBD4) (Table 3). This evidence concerns the gene PARP2 and breast carcinoma.
