The present study showed that miR-145 involved in ESCC invasion and migration in vitro via transduction of miR-145 or miR-145 inhibitor into Eca109 and TE-1 cells significantly suppressed not only the expression of PLCE1 but also that of c-Myc and FSCN1; the two latter genes are previously identified targets of miR-145. This evidence concerns the gene PLCE1 and esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.
