ARPIN and cancer: Arpin is encoded by the gene C15ORF38 and its protein is encoded by a single gene containing 220 residues and is structured with the exception of its highly mobile C‐terminal end, which contains the putative binding site of Arp2/3 complex 14, which has been reported to be closely related to the development and migration of cancer cells for its key role in the filopodia initiation 15, 16.
