Sano et al.[37] also found that 0.3 μg/ml Dox (≈0.6μM) significantly increased the gene expression of Bcl-2 and Bcl-xl in a feline T-cell leukemia cell line while Lee et al.[45] reported a time-dependent “Gaussian-type” response of p-Akt in mouse NIH3T3 cells as well as in a human HaCat keratinocyte cell line following Dox incubation. This evidence concerns the gene AKT1 and T-cell leukemia.
