MAF and infection: We found a significant transient increase in the percentage of c-Maf+ -expressing Tfh cells plateauing at day 30 post-infection in both LNs (30.83% ± 21.12%, p = 0.0001) and spleen (54.00% ± 21.21%; p = 0.035) compared to healthy RMs (LNs, 5.85% ± 3.02% and spleen, 24.68% ± 11.10%, respectively) (Fig 4C).
