We validated this finding by reverse transcription–quantitative PCR for all six genes and immunoblotting for Glut4 (an average of 12.64-fold induction compared with controls) and Gsk3a/b (an average of 8.35- and 2.69-fold induction compared with controls for a and b, respectively) to confirm that these genes are transactivated in TKO HCC (Fig. 1a,b). Here, GSK3A is linked to hepatocellular carcinoma.
