In contrast with these results, Vered et al. found a correlation between Ki-67 and P63 immunoreaction in epithelial dysplasia and oral squamous cell carcinoma.[19] In agreement with our findings, Takada et al. have found an increasing Ki-67 LI with progression of dysplasia, but P63 expression has not risen. The gene discussed is MKI67; the disease is intraepithelial neoplasia.
