Our previous study found that miR-99b-5p and miR-100-5p were abnormally expressed in the brains of APPswe/PS1ΔE9 double-transgenic mice [APP/PS1 mice (Luo et al., 2014)], which have AD symptoms after 6 months of age, suggesting their pivotal roles in Aβ deposition-associated AD pathology.
