Specifically, we report upregulation of WNT7B and SFRP4 and downregulation of WNT2. We also found a clear increase in expression of Wnt-downstream protein β-catenin in Dupuytren’s nodules, especially in nuclei, strongly suggesting an overall activation of the canonical Wnt signaling pathway in Dupuytren’s disease. Here, WNT7B is linked to Dupuytren Contracture.
