The current study was conducted to investigate the association between 2 SNPs (rs662, rs705382) of the PON1 gene, and CHB, LC, and HCC risks in a substantial number of cases and controls (99 CHB patients, 84 LC, 258 HCC, and 221 healthy controls), which greatly increased statistical power of the study when compared with previous studies. Here, PON1 is linked to laryngotracheoesophageal cleft.
