Furthermore, we also performed sub-group analysis restricted to cancer type in different ethnicities for OS (Table 3), the results showed that Ezrin positive expression was associated with a poor prognosis of various tumors, especially HNSCC (HR = 2.80, 95% CI: 1.87–4.18, P < 0.001) and gynecologic cancer (HR = 2.73, 95% CI: 1.78–4.18, P < 0.001) among Asians (Fig. 3), with the exception of osteosarcoma (HR = 7.21, 95% CI: 0.65–80.17, P = 0.108).
