Overall, elevated Ezrin expression had a worse outcome in cancer patients, with the pooled HRs of 1.86 (95% CI: 1.51–2.31, P < 0.001) for OS and 2.02 (95% CI: 1.13–3.63, P = 0.018) for DSS/MFS with a random model because of the significant heterogeneity (I2 = 77.7%, P < 0.001; I2 = 76.7%, P < 0.001, respectively). This evidence concerns the gene EZR and cancer.
