CD4 and tuberculosis: There was no difference between the subset of HIV+/TB+ patients that was tested for biomarkers compared to HIV+/TB+ patients who were not tested with regard to gender, TB manifestations, mid upper arm circumference (MUAC) and body mass index (BMI); however, persons not included had non-significantly higher median CD4 cell count (192 vs. 150 cells/mm3, p = 0.102).
