RPS6KA3 and ovarian carcinoma: We show here that the RSK1 and RSK2 kinases play a key role in the homing of ovarian cancer cells in metastatic sites by regulating cell adhesion and invasion likely through a mechanism involving the RSK1/2-driven activation of the transcription/translation factor YB-1, the transcription of the FN1 gene and the translation of the TGF-β1 mRNA.
