Jin et al (15) used an immunohistochemical method to detect the expression level of P53 in 80 specimens of esophageal carcinoma and different diseased tissues in situ, which implied that positive P53 expression was associated with the occurrence and stage of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma and could be used to identify high-risk individuals in a precancerous population. Here, TP53 is linked to carcinoma of esophagus.
