In combined samples of grade III and IV gliomas, the average PLCβ1 signal level in PN subtypes (2642 ± 207, n = 37) is still significantly higher than its level in Mes (852 ± 120, n = 35) and in proliferative subtypes (1242 ± 170, n = 28; both p < 0.05). This evidence concerns the gene PLCB1 and central nervous system cancer.
