As with other dipeptide-linked auristatin-based immunoconjugates [61–63], preliminary results of a phase II trial of the anti-CD22-MMAE immunoconjugate pinatuzumab vedotin in combination with rituximab in patients with relapsed/refractory non-Hodgkin lymphoma reported on significant payload-related systemic toxicities including neutropenia and peripheral neuropathy [64]. Here, CD22 is linked to peripheral neuropathy.
