Analysis of expression cohorts of tumours with neural origin showed that high MGMT expression levels correlate with poor survival in adult gliomas and childhood neuroblastoma, whereas in medulloblastoma high levels of MGMT was significantly correlated to the Wnt molecular subgroup with high frequency of mutations in Wnt signalling key molecules (Fig. 1a,b, Supplementary Fig. 1). This evidence concerns the gene MGMT and medulloblastoma.
