Specifically, as shown in Figs. 4D–4F, significant differences in genes selected by any combination of the two- or three-gene models in clinical outcomes were exhibited according to the Kaplan–Meier survival analysis; in particular, the most significant model was the combination of CA125 and CENPK mRNA expressions which was associated with poor prognoses in ovarian cancer patients (p = 0.0020). This evidence concerns the gene CENPK and ovarian carcinoma.
