In accordance with these data, highly tumorigenic KRAS12G→S mutation activated A549 [15, 16] and HER1/EGFRΔE746–750 kinase domain mutation activated HCC827 lung cancer cells [17] expressed much higher levels of serglycin as compared to less tumorigenic KRAS12G→C mutant NCI-H358 and NCI-H23 as well as nonmutated H661 lung cancer cells [15, 16, 18] (Figure 1(a)).
