As shown in Figure 6A,B, the levels of p21, p27, Bax, Bcl-XL and caspase-3 expression were increased while those of cyclins A, cyclins D1, cyclins E, Bcl-2 and Bik expression levels were decreased after transfection with Kv1.5-shRNA, suggesting that Kv1.5 silencing could suppress malignant phenotype of osteosarcoma through multiple signaling pathways. This evidence concerns the gene KCNA5 and osteosarcoma.
