To evaluate the effect of β-elemene on the expression of stemness-, differentiation- and EMT-related effectors in vivo, we evaluated the expression of CD133, ABCG2, GFAP, Notch1, SHH, vimentin, E-cadherin, N-cadherin and β-catenin in the aforementioned tumor tissues from glioblastoma cell-transplanted nude mice in the β-elemene- and NaCl-treated groups by Western blot. This evidence concerns the gene PROM1 and glioblastoma.
