INS and pancreatic insulinoma: The C-terminally extended peptide TLQP-62, which would be detected by both the TLQP and the VGF C-terminus assay and antibodies in the present study, proved more powerful in stimulating insulin secretion from insulinoma cell lines, compared to TLQP-21 and several other fragments from the C-terminal domain of VGF, and improved glucose tolerance when injected peripherally in mice [18].
