In a panel of several lung cancer cell lines, including EKVX, H23, H322M, H522, H520, A549, HOP62, H226, CL1–5, and CL141, both MDA-9/Syntenin and Slug expressions positively correlated with the invasiveness of lung adenocarcinoma cell lines (Figure 1F) and four breast cancer cell lines (Supplementary Figure 1C), suggesting that MDA-9/Syntenin and Slug may correlate with cell invasiveness in general. This evidence concerns the gene SDCBP and breast carcinoma.
