In cancer patients, most of the autoantigens targeted by host’s immune system were identified as proteins in cell transformation and cancer progression e.g. mutant p53, K-ras, insulin-growth factor II mRNA binding protein family (IMPs), c-myc, p90/CIP2A, p16, p21, cyclin A, B and E [6, 7]. This evidence concerns the gene CCNA2 and cancer.
