In our further experiments, we will detect the molecular signaling mechanism of oxidative stress (because of the generation of ROS in triptolide group) and investigate whether triptolide inhibits autophagy in an mTOR-dependent manner (because of the function of rapamycin), and we will also check the effect of triptolide in primary cells and in in vivo models to compare the difference of the molecular signaling mechanism of autophagy in pathogenesis of AD between in vivo and in vitro. Here, MTOR is linked to Alzheimer disease.
