It is interesting to note that, among the several genes with a known function located within the region, the PIAS3 gene could be indicated as the most conspicuous candidate for thrombocytopenia and the Lix1L gene, known be transiently expressed during chick hind-limb development, could be proposed as the candidate gene for limb abnormalities [34–36]. This evidence concerns the gene PIAS3 and Thrombocytopenia.
