The hormone receptor (HR) and human epidermal growth factor (HER)-2 status of the primary breast cancer was reported in 6 studies, however survival information related to molecular subtype was only available in 3.[23, 25, 28] HR positivity was observed in 48.1% (n = 156; range 35.3-58%), HER-2 positivity was seen in 27.2% (n = 235; range 15-40%), and triple negative breast cancer represented 27.6% (n = 290; range 21-36.8%). The gene discussed is ERBB2; the disease is triple-negative breast carcinoma.
